Animation class

Hello!

Sorry, I’ve been busy -again. Been filming, cutting, editing, etc… My film is finally finished! It’s called ‘It Feels Like Love’, but I can’t show it just yet. I’ve sent it to a Swedish film festival and they only accept new, unwatched films.. Crossing my fingers they will approve my film.

Anyway.

Now, via my internship at Filmpool Jämtland (where I’ve been making my short films) I’ve just started an animation class for little school kids, second grade. It’s so much fun and the kids love it!
First the kids go on a story-telling short journey inside a local, old style museum where they are being told three different folktales. Then afterwards they come to me and my colleague Jamie in our little animation studio. There we’re teaching them the stop motion technique and help them make their own little characters using clay.

Then they get to make their own short animations based on these stories they’ve just heard. It’s a really cool job and everyone’s so happy to be there :)

Here’s some pictures.
