Hellu!
The ’Three panorama paintings project’ is finally complete. I’m calling it ’Journey’ but each of the paintings have their own name as well.
I started this project when I got the order on May 5th and finished it yesterday. I had to varnish all the paintings more than usual, (three times) which is kind of bad. I didn’t buy the same varnish brand as I usually do (that only needs one layer of varnish), because they didn’t sell it in this ’new’ town of mine, but this new brand worked at last and the paintings look well :)
I really hope the customer will be pleased of my interpretation of this order he gave me. Well, he gave me free hands, but still. I really want all my customers to be happy, or else I’ve failed.
I’m always so nervous when I’m handing over a painting I’ve made, whether it’s a gift from me or if I get paid. The small self-hating person inside of me takes over and I feel like it’s all shit whatever I do. But most people say it’s not, that it in fact is really great what I do, but maybe they’re just being nice..
– See, here I go again! I’m just so nervous he won’t like it. :(
